Test Indian address generator

Select India above to generate test addresses in the Indian format: a house or block number, a sector, colony, layout or nagar, a city, the state, and a 6-digit PIN code. Each PIN starts with the real prefix for its state or city, so Delhi addresses begin with 110, Bengaluru with 560, Mumbai with 400, Chennai with 600 and Hyderabad with 500.

The generator covers five states: Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Telangana. Each state has its own list of cities, so the output reads like real data. Every address is randomly built and does not correspond to a real property.

MaharashtraMumbai, Pune, Nagpur400
Tamil NaduChennai, Coimbatore, Madurai600

Why use test Indian addresses in testing?

Use cases

API access

Generate addresses programmatically: GET /api/v1/location/address?country=IN&count=20

GPS coordinates for a country: GET /api/v1/location/coordinates?country=US&count=10

Are these real addresses? +
No. Addresses are randomly generated from pools of real street name patterns, genuine city names, and valid postal code ranges. They will not resolve to a real property on Google Maps or any mapping service.
Why are ZIP/PIN codes in the right range? +
The generator uses actual postal code ranges per state/region. For example, Delhi PIN codes start with 110, Bengaluru with 560, California ZIP codes fall in the 90000–96699 range. This makes the addresses pass basic format validation without being real.
Can the generator make a test Indian address with a PIN code? +
Yes. Choose India from the country list and click Generate. Each address has a 6-digit PIN code in the range for its state, plus a block, sector or colony number and a city. Use the CSV download to export up to 50 addresses at once.
Can I get GPS coordinates with addresses? +
Yes — use the API endpoint /api/v1/location/coordinates?country=IN to get random GPS coordinates within a country's bounding box. The combined /api/v1/record endpoint returns both address and coordinates together.
